The Saboteur has one of the more intriguing setups of any game this year. Players are thrust into Nazi occupied France and given the opportunity to turn the tide of the war one explosion at a time. The setting is both sexy and dangerous, with a colorful cast of characters that border on period-piece stereotypes. You take on the role of Sean Devlin, a hard drinking womanizer with a past who has fled his native Ireland to try his luck at race car driving in Grand Paris. Sean's main competition is an Aryan named Kurt Dierker who cheats his way to victory and provokes Sean to get even off of the race course. What starts as a prank against Dierker quickly escalates to a game of life and death and ensnares players in a blood oath to kill him and remove his Nazi brethren from the country.

The difficulty of presenting an open world game is balancing a player's freedom of choice with a storyline that pushes them towards the main objectives. The Saboteur manages to do both very well. As Sean is introduced to bands of rebels, British agents, and devious black market weapons dealers they are marked on the on-screen mini map with initials. The character or location that must be reached to advance the story is always highlighted in yellow. In this way the objectives are neatly displayed and players always know where the next most important task can be found. But to complete these tasks players will need to purchase weapons, and currency is mostly obtained through the liberation of separate neighborhoods. Paris is filled with Nazi encampments like fuel depots and sniper pits. A well placed explosive will take out these targets and net the player some cash. The option exists to strictly follow the plot or go Nazi hunting across the countryside.

4-Play Game

Recommended Game-only steps for Quad core users only:(Windows 7 and Vista)

1.) Boot the game.
2.) Wait for the main menu to load, then press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
3.) Select Start Task Manager.
4.) If the game is visible, press Alt-Tab, otherwise continue to the next step.
5.) Inside the Task Manager, go to the Processes tab.
6.) Find Saboteur.exe, right-click it, and select Set Affinity�
7.) De-select CPU 2 and CPU 3.
8.) Click OK.

Please remember that if you are having problems with this game this doesnt mean that this release is bad and not working...the problem is occuring on some PC's only...so if you downloaded this release and got it to work then please comment in this thread

Turn on the Nudity option from the Game menu

Below is the list of fixes if you encounter any problem

#Graphics Appearning badly????
There isn't an in game menu to set resolution etc, but in the install folder there is a file called "VideoSetup" open the file...carefully....then make your changes.

New Fix:
Somebody Gave an Idea that Removing the overclocking on your PC solves the problem that some ppl are having......here is how to do that

(For Windows 7)

1.) Open MSCONFIG (You can open it by entering MSCONFIG in the search bar)
2.) Select the �Boot� tab
3.) Click on �Advanced Options�
4.) Check �Number of Processors�
5.) Select �1� from dropdown menu
6.) Click �Apply�
7.) Restart machine

(For Windows Vista)

1.) Open MSCONFIG � Start> Run > Type MSCONFIG
2.) Select the �BOOT.INI� tab
3.) Click on �Advanced Options��
4.) Select the check box for /NUMPROC= set it to 1 & click �OK�
5.) Click �Apply�
6.) Restart machine

#Fix 1-BLACK SCREEN PROBLEM
Copy the contents of the file below to The Installed Directory.

#Fix 2-ATI CARD USERS

1- Open game from saboteur.exe
2- Alt+Ctrl+delete Go to ur task manager under the processes Tab find Saboteur.exe
3-Right Click on it and select set priority and change it to Real Time
4- Right Click again on saboteur.exe and choose Set affinity and mark CPU1 only ... For quad core Mark cpu3 only
5- go back to game should be fixed .

#Fix 3-NVIDIA AND ATI USERS

1- Go to my document>Mygames>The Saboteur > Save game > Congif.txt
2- Find the refresh rate and make it 60
3- Find vysinc and change it to 0
4- Write this line under the vysinc line "" Windowed 1 "" without the quotes
5- File>Save ... File>Exit
6- Run Game it should work

#Fix 4-NVIDIA USERS
Update your Graphic Card Driver To v195.62.
