PLOT: A Brazilian native and a Quebecoise stripper form a mutually beneficial friendship in this drama from French/Canadian filmmaker Guylaine Dionne. Brazilian student Priscilla Paredes was studying in Montreal when her student visa expired. Now, Priscilla�s only hope for remaining in Canada is to go to work as a stripper at Elixir, a seedy downtown strip club. There, the desperate illegal comes into contact with local dancer Milagro. Ironically, Milagro longs to go to Brazil, and the two dancers strike up a warm friendship based on their tenuous connection.
